At Colyn & Associates our core area of expertise and main focus is on property law (Conveyancing) anywhere in South Africa. We also assist non-residents when they sell or purchase property in South Africa.
Contracts
We assist with professionally drafted agreements and our expertise in this regard will ensure that both parties to the agreement are fully aware and agree to the contents thereof.
Trusts
We assist with the formation of family trusts (inter vivos trust) and trusts which are attached to your Last Will (testamentary trust) as many clients with minor children, in the event of the death of both parents, choose for a trust to be created to care for their minor children until they reach a certain age.
Powers of Attorney
We assist with the drafting of powers of attorney to enable one person to act on another person’s behalf, whether generally or for a specific reason. This is an extremely useful instrument for families where a person is incapacitated or located abroad.
